4. Jewelry and Antiques are Fully Covered
This is only partially true. While most home insurance will cover valuables, coverage of collections is usually limited by the terms of the policy. If you have a large collection of valuables, additional coverage may be prudent.
5. My Dog Needs to Bite a Visitor for There to be a Claim
In actuality, if a visitor trips and falls while trying to escape your barking dog and injures themselves, you could be subject to a liability claim.
